News Update: Celebs love food Jewellery!!

I've been so busy lately I now have a few blog posts lined up to publish, so thought I would start with a celeb inspired post as I've been catching up with all the glossy magazines and TV shows!

Little Mix recently appeared on The Alan Carr show - Chatty Man and I was made up to see that Jade was wearing a food jewellery inspired cake and biscuit selection ring, much like the ring we sell here at Charm-eleon! We love to see celebrities spreading the word about funky food jewellery pieces.

Here is the pic Jade Thirlwall tweeted before the show with a pic of the girls on Alan's sofa.
Take a look at our other food jewellery rings

However little Mix aren't the only newly discovered celebs to show off their love for food jewellery, as at the end of last year Cher Lloyd was also spotted wearing an iced gem ring whilst she performed her hit single “With ur love” on the X Factor.

Our iced gem rings, in assorted colours, will be available very soon so watch this space

Jessie J of course has always been a girl to love outrageous clothes, funky hair do's and a unique style of shoes so why should her jewellery be any different? She was recently spotted showing off an English Breakfast Ring.

(Left: Our breakfast ring just like Jessies' is available here)

So who do we think is the biggest food jewellery fan of? No it's not Lady GaGa or nicki minaj......

It has to be the lovely Katy Perry!

Amongst the candy cane hair styles, cream bun breasts and sweet sprinkle nail art, Katy Perry started off her collection with a roast dinner ring given to her as a present from a fan! Now she has a beans on toast ring, a gummy bear knuckle duster and a plate of biscuits to show off to the world! What a perfect way to compliment her many sugary inspired outfits.

Get your roast dinner ring here and start a food jewellery collection of your own!

We'd love to know what your favourite food jewellery product is?

P.S If you're a passionate blogger and you love our food  inspired jewellery, we'd love to hear from you! We are currently looking for a blog to review one of our products so please get in touch on our Facebook or Twitter page. Or alternatively email us at laura@charm-eleon.co.uk

These are a few of my favourite 'vintage' things

I've always loved vintage products, however recently i've been slowly building a wish list with a few i've seen around. So I thought I'd shared a few of my favourites with you all below....

Love, Laugh Live photo frame from Next

I loved this frame from the moment I spotted it in my local store and already started planning the pictures I could fill it with. It could easily hang in any room and would be really cute as a present too!

Vintage miniature draw set from Velvet

At £18 these miniature set of draws are fairly expensive, but I still love them! Great for storing your fashionable food jewellery ;) or other little goodies and would go perfectly with other vintage looking furniture!

Bird duvet set from Asda

At just £11 (double) this gorgeous duvet is a bargain! It has great online reviews too and looks so pretty! I can't wait to purchase this one as it would look great with my green bedroom and other vintage accessories.

I'm desperate for one of these beautiful cushions! Each one is delicately handmade and is just one of the many gorgeous designs available :)

New butterfly range from Matalan

These miniature draws are adorable along with the other products in this new butterfly range from Matalan! Theres also a large box, wall signs, mirrors and door hooks. I'd love to have the complete set!

Now for something I have purchased recently......

Daisy dress from Primark

A bargain at £3 down from £5, this dress was hard to resist. Its lightweight, really comfy and will go with almost anything in my wardrobe from leggings and cardigans to lace up boots and jean jackets!

Here at Charm-eleon ,we have also created our own vintage food jewellery range and have nearly completed our new necklace and ring products. Here's a sneak peak below...

If you would like to pre-order anything above, please get in touch at laura@charm-eleon.co.uk, or leave a comment below, as our new vintage range products are limited!

Have you purchased anything vintage recently?

What's In My Bag?

I've come to realise that whatever topic you specialise in, whatever your interests are and whatever you do on a day to day basis, if you're a woman, a post titled "whats in my bag" will always grab your attention (it know it's attracted me before).

I've loved to see what's hidden in the depths of people's clutch, oversized, fashionable and everyday handbags! So I thought I'd join in the fun (and noseyness) and investigate what's hidden in my own!

I didn't add, take away or change anything and honestly tipped out my bag as it was today!

Batiste Dry Shampoo
Aboslutely love batiste dry shampoo. For those days when your fringe is greasy but the rest is fine, or when you just don't have time to wash it! It's brilliant and now comes in all different colours and fragrances!

L'oreal Telescopic Mascara
This mascara is one of the best products I have ever bought! Nothing compares to this when it comes to coating my lashes and this carbon black style ensures that they are shiny and dark as well as long and full :)

Vaseline
The lipgloss that's good for your lips! This one has Aloe Vera and is by far my favourite. I always have a tin hanging around and as well being good for those dry lip days, it's also great for giving your lips a glossy shine.

Charm-eleon sugared doughnut ring
One of our new designs, our sugared doughnut ring complete with four sweet doughnuts smothered in sugar. Makes me hungry every time I see it. These are on our site now!

Cupcake Earphones
I can never have a normal pair of earphones and as there as so many funky designs in the comfy rubber style I love. I asked for these for Christmas to replace my very old ladybird ones. Check out these banana earphones in my other post too.

Carex Hand gel

I carry a bottle of this everywhere, particularly as I catch two buses a day which has made me realise just how dirty some people are! You could say I have a little bit of OCD but at least my hands are clean :) This one smells really nice too and as its the moisturiser version, its not as harsh as some others.

Charm-eleon Pink fancy necklace
This is one of our most popular products and comes in all the delcious colours  of pink, yellow and chocolate brown. Fancy your own french fancy necklace?

MAC Studio Finish Concealer
I recieved this concealer  for Christmas and with it being so tiny I didn't think it would last very long but I was shocked to see that you only need the tiniest fingertip full for large areas. It gives great coverage and also blends well with my MAC foundation.

Purse

I love my little purse. I used to have a large one full of pockets and secrets compartments, but the problem was if i wanted to take a smaller bag it never fitted. Therefore I picked up this little bargain at Primark for only £1 - does the job nicely :)

£20 Republic voucher
I recieved this voucher for Christmas and have carried it around with me ever since. I haven't seen anything in the shop I like yet, so i'll keep it with me untill I do :)

Mobile

I carry my iPhone everywhere with me and feel lost without it. Whether its my daily call from my sis, a quick catch up on Facebook on the bus, uploading pics to Twitter, or playing a game to pass the time, this mobile has (sadly) become a part of my everyday routine! My phone however had to be taken out of the image to take the picture :)

I love to see these posts, so if you have done your own feel free to leave a comment and link to it below so I can take a look.

Food, Jewellery and something unique. What more could a girl want this Valentines?

For some people, valentines day is to be avoided like the plague whether its dodging themed shop windows, temporarily ignoring those friends who are loved up, or downing a couple of bottles to celebrate your life as a singleton. However for others, valentines is something to look forward to, an excuse to be romantic once a year, or a reminder of how much you mean to each other. Here's a few ideas for the perfect way to cheer up yourself, a friend and of course a perfect hint for your loved one.

Have your dinner and dessert all in one with our food themed rings!

It looks like this year it's going to be the coldest Valentines day ever! Its already supposed to start snowing in Brighton this weekend and yesterday it was -5! Hot chocolates and stodgy food are still on my menu untill the sun shows its face again, so recently I've had plenty of inspiration for making new foodie pieces. We've just released the first few items of our Valentines collection and as well as being yummy, these pieces are as romantic as you can get! We have everything from heart shaped waffles topped with soft pink ice cream, to a sweet spongy cupcake necklace iced with love hearts and ready to show off to the world.

The way to a girls heart: chocolate cupcake with heart icing and waffle and ice cream necklaces!

Rich chocolate cake with a romantic twist ready to be made into jewellery

The usual Valentine's romance involves dinner, chocolates and bunches of roses, so why not add a new twist with unique food jewellery to express your love instead? We have a little something to suit everyone, whether your the romantic mushy type or looking for a unique fashion accessory.

How are you spending this Valentines day?

The art of mixing food and fashion!

What a busy week! Saturday was my friend’s surprise baby shower which was very successful and very pink. We had everything from baby hampers and bump guessing games to sausage rolls and jelly babies. I absolutely loved it! Yet as I spent three hours the night before slaving away making mini baby shower cupcakes (yes I said three hours) it made me realise that my love of food doesn’t just stop at jewellery making.

As a lover of food creations, I’m almost always on the lookout for the next quirky food product to shock, impress or feed my cravings! Whether its soap in the shape of chocolate, or makeup mirrors designed to look like toast, I love finding unusual products and building my collection.

Here are the products that took my fancy this week and will definetly be put on my foodie wish list!

Custard cream cushions! Everyone loves a good dunk of one of these in your tea and when the entire packet disappears through an episode of eastenders, you’ll still have a huge one waiting on your bed ready to snuggle.

Raspberry handbag! This little food creation would guarantee to be a head turner but as for practicality…I’m not too sure how long it would last, but for one night I’d definitely be teaming this up with my little black dress.

Mini cupcake lip gloss! How cute are these? Small enough to fit in your bag, but detailed enough to impress your friends. I am in love! They come in sets of different designs too.

The perfect bed for all you burger lovers! Pull back the lettuce and snuggle under a cheese slice, this product’s undoubtedly on everyone’s secret wish list! Warning: You may wake in the night and start chewing on your mattress.

I bet no one in your office/college/school/gym class has got these! What a way to stand out from the norm with mini bananas in your ears. I have cupcake earphones at the moment, but these bad boys are next on my list!

And finally…..

If it’s good enough for Miss GaGa…then it’s probably only good enough for her.  Personally the meat and dress combination just doesn’t quite do it for me and I think you’d have to use a whole bottle of perfume to cancel out the rotting flesh stench  with that one.

If you find anything that’s food related and out of the ordinary we’d love to hear from you! Don’t forget Charm-eleon doesn’t just create what we have on our site, we also design orders created from our customer’s minds which means we can produce the most perfect jewellery item unique to you.

Love from
